As an emerging artist, my work is simple and direct. In my current work, I find insects, beetles in particular, beautiful and have attempted to play and accentuate their colours and patterns in a modern decorative context.

My latest incarnation attempts to immortalize nature\'s underworld inhabitants in an exotic, hyper realistic style, magnifiying and amplifying until they are unavoidable.  I am also fascinated with the very act of collecting and assembling these beautiful creatures; still victims of our Victorian past, we are driven to collect peculiar ephemera, memento mori and corpses of dead insects.  Are we so beautiful in death ?
